temp needle jumping?

temp needle jumping? but only when started from cold at idle when waiting for it to warm up, but if i put my foot on the throttle and take it to around 1000rpm it stops jumping? then all is well once it starts to heat a wee bit, then no jumping at all??


anyone know anything about this??
