do the sport seats have the hard backs on them? if so take that off and check the 2 philips screws are attached, mine were really loose but tightening them cured it, worth checking b4 u start thinking about money,

i checked mine.. Bodgy job, the guy before me superglued the back to the vinyl!! Had a look and the screw has broken off the metal tab on the inside of the seat. SO my seat back used to lift off from the base.. and back down each time you got in/out. Used a zip tie to hold it down, glued it all back in place.. and le voila.. fixed! (BTW, the ziptie is nothing structural, it's just holding the seatback down.)

This may be caused by one of two large screws coming loose as ste00 says.

I did mine (in a two door) like this:

1. Tilt seat back all the way forward
2. On the bottom of the backing you will find two crosshead screws on either side, remove these
3. Pull tilt handle and surround off the side (the one on the back, not on the seat base)
4. The backing can now be moved up towards the headrest to unclip

Check for two large golden screws near the bottom on either side.

I re-tightened those screws a couple of times before deciding to use some thread lock stuff on them. Never had to go back since.
