m52 from a e38

hi, just collecting parts for my m52 conversion, does the sump fit from the e38? And thats with the e36 mounting arms on e28 m5 rubbers.

Also anyone have a wiring diagram?

Gearbox - a e30 318i gearbox fit? what linkage would be needed, or is it better just the use the 318is gearbox that seems to be reccomended. (i already have the 318i gearbox)

Pretty sure it does using the same principals as the 318is box/prop/diff combo. Again more info in the designated section or here:

thanks for your reply, yeah i have read through the the m52 section, but the pictures have disappeared for the wiring hence asking, and doenst have the info for the linkages using a 318i gearbox. (m40 318i gearbox is what i have btw)

I think it is 320i linkages still but not 100%

Yes 320i linkage is what has been used for mine.
