strut sizes?

i got a 318i and not sure if the face lifts had 51mm and 45mm. had a read up and its saying only the pre face lifts had 45mm and all face lifts had 51mm. any one clued up about this?

Both size struts were fitted to facelift cars. You need to measure it to find out which type you've got.
If it ain't broke..
Fix it till it is :)

It will have the smaller struts.
If it's getting a M52, you really ought to be changing the whole suspension and brakes, front and rear, for those from a touring, cab, or any 325, which will give you the larger front struts.

will do mate got rear discs anyway and m3 springs with 318 shocks but will get the front sorted soon as, the M52 is in the car for over a year now lol
