As above, I want to refurb my BMC by changing all of the seals etc.

I've removed it from the car, but can't see how to get the piston out as there appears to be a 'C' clip which I can't remove. Any help/advice on this please - is this deemed a non-servicable item?

Non serviceable as far as BMW are concerned. They don't supply seals.

So is brand new the only option if I want a fresh one? Shuddering at the thought of the price already!

Thanks. I've done exactly that, but cannot get it apart to fit the new seals. As per first post, there's a C clip holding things together as well as what looks like a plastic seal. There is no way of removing these that I can see without damaging them.
