Hi

Am having a few snags fitting the manual cables for unlocking the horseshoe.

Could anyone show me what the route is for the long cable, is it secured anywhere between the horseshoe clip and the grommet. Its cable 13 in the pic. I guess if you have a manual roof it should be really obvious and a pic of the cable run would be great. I can't see the route and fixings as i'm converting from electric.

Also, i can't work out there the clips (number 16 in the pic) go so if you have a pic of that it would be great.

Many thanks :D :D :D

#16 are the clips that secure the ends of the cable outer sheaths at the handle end - they clip onto the edge of the metal 'housing' for the handle.
I have a cab. in the workshop right now, with the roof completely removed. The long cable lies in the 'trench' in the compartment floor, underneath the carpet. The cable in mine is stuck in the glue, but apart from that I don't think it's attached at all.

thanks Brian, that's great, i'll attach the clips No.16 and post a pic to check i've done them right. I'll lay the cable in the little trench under the carpet and see if it all fits ok. Thanks v much :D :D :D :D :D

Stops the rear screen blower when the roof is down.
