Strange engine noise with video

Can anyone help me with this clinking noise i am getting on start up, simmers down a bit once warm and is not apparent whilst driving.

Anyone know what this could be and how expensive a job as i have the mechanical capability of a moron.

And yes i know its dirty! hah.

Very difficult to hear the sound on the video to be honest. You need to use a longbar as a stethoscope placing it on various parts of the engine and to your ear. This should help you pin point the location of the sound. Try that and report back.

Be careful not to hit any of the moving engine components with the bar, fan, pulleys ect as to avoid personal injury.
