I have degreaser, Primer, holts satin black paint and sand paper.....

Do I just go for it and sand it all in one direction and paint in the other or can I just give it a good going over prime it and paint it?

Never done anything like this so could use instruction :)

Thanks

If you just rub it down with the correct paper it should cut the paint and scuffs back pretty well, then just start painting. Few good coats will do nicely.

Step 1: Rub down till its nice and smooth using a finer paper each time
Step 2: Degrease
Step 3: Find a nice clean surface which is dust free and paint!

Should do the trick mate.
