Hi everyone

being new to mechanics etc just wanted a bit of advice

Iv recently lowered my car, and have been advised to upgrade the anti roll bar links, especially the fronts as they need replacing

Can anyone recommend a good brand what they have used

Links would be awesome!

Thanks

Luke

Pretty sure Lemfoder are OE parts. Euro Car Parts, and GSF should stock them

Yep just done this on mine, Eurocarparts do Lemforders, good quality too. Just make sure you got plenty of lube as the top part is pretty tough to pop over the anti roll bar.!

Ford mondeo rear (I think) ones also fit and are probably a better design. They have a ball joint on the end that bolts to the wishbone, meaning you can ditch the bracket.

Dunno what the quality of these is like - could be worth asking ECP if Lemforder do a Mondeo Estate Rear droplink

Will look into it.

My car was in for a pre mot check with a local garage

Mot - 54

O/s/f tyre - 54

OSF floor welding -96

2x front anti roll bar links - 100

Doing it all for 290 cash.. Any comments?

So Mondeo rear links are a direct replacement for the E30 fronts?

Can't really comment on the prices as I do all repairs myself, although I'd wouldn't be happy paying £100 to replace the ARB links, but I guess that's down to garage labour prices. I did both links in about 30mins on the driveway, so I'd think most garages could do that, but they'll round up to an hours labour
Fair enough on the MOT and tyre price though, and it isn't easy to price welding as it depends how much is needed.

If the £290 is for quality ( Lemforder or similar ) ARB links and a decent tyre thats not a bad price.
