Just got my replacement drivers seat bolster, can any one outline the removal of the drivers seat and respective bolster? What tools do I need before I delve into the garage?

Thanks.!

From memory you need to...

Remove the side plastics that cover the leaver part.

Remove the retaining bit that holds the centre part in

Then slide out the middle pin thats sits in the centre of this.

Then on the back section of the the mechanical part there is a bit that needs pushing in so the whole things can slide forward, then the mech all comes off...

Think that makes sense...

Then you need some long nose pliers to bends all the cloth pin bits on the underside. Once they're all off, you should be able to just remove it all in one go then

I'd also remove the back section of the seat for a bit of ease... 2 screws at the bottom of the back part, then it slides off. Then 2 screws on either side at the base need undoing and the tilt cable needs disconnecting.

Take your time when doing it as its easily to loose your temper and bend bits

If the Wiki hasnt already got this info, next time I take a seat to peices, i'll get some pictures for a guide.
