I have a problem with the auto box in my 1989 316i auto and have had the box changed but about 300 miles later the same problem with the box/converter so i want to swap it to a manual. I've got a guy who will do the swap as long as i provide the parts.
The question i have is will a manual gearbox from a 1991 318i fit or do i need to buy a 316i gear box?
