oil pressure light ?

i turn my ignition on all red lights come on exccept oil pressure light would this suggest wireing is not attached somewhere or duff sensor ??? m50 by the way [/list]

If you unplug the sensor and earth the single pin in the plug the light should come on, if it does it shows the sensor is not working, if it doesnt first thing to check is the bulb in your clocks

quiet wills take the pish man me ears were ringing for ages , but it dont scrape on anything now ill get centre box asap ,

also had a lil look in dark as fell asleep am i correct in thinkin oil pressure is on inlet side sort of next to alternator if so i earther it to engine mount n fo0k diddly came on ,

yep well earthed it n fook all which says somthing else gna pull clocks out

Wire connected correctly at the engine loom plug? Try earthing pin 5 (black/brown) at the body socket, with the ignition on.

thanks for advice guys its the sensor i tested from loom plug straight to battery for a perfect earth, then connector on the plug both times light came on boshty get one next week :)
