steering rack issue

Hiya after my power steering gave up on my e30 1,8. I Was going to decide to upgrade etc but due to funds at the time, nothing happend and was left on stands, but after alot of job searching, I started my new job yesturday but takes me a hour and half walking just one way ha.. So want a quick turn around on fixing my rack, I been in ebay and found this:

If some one could take a look if you have time please, to confirm it will fit my e30 1.8, as asked the seller and messaged back saying, he isnt 100% sure.

Also Reason going manual heard its better(not sure) and take all parts out now

It will fit and work but you need the linkage to go with it

Part #1 is different (length) between manual and power racks.
TBH, you'd be better off buying a good second hand power rack from one of the trusted sellers on here.

Put up a wanted ad, there are plenty of sellers that will have it land on your doorstep, just make sure you buy the same rack to replace, either steel bodied or alloy bodied.
