I noticed this today after I parked up and nudged the steering wheel by accident and the lock came on. Since then when driving sometimes you can feel the steering lock catch or actually lock on for a moment :eek:
When stationary as you turn the wheel either way you can feel/hear the lock kind of catching but not actually locking the wheel! WTF is happening and what can I do about it. Last thing I want is my wheel locking as I come out of a corner...

Does anyone know how the locking mech actually works and is there any way I can disable it?
