As title
got one that starts to surge/Slip when light load place on throttle any when on incline ideas ?torque convertor is not locking in, oil has been checked and is at required level and in good condition
any ideas have heard that torque convertor soliniods go wrong etc

Could be a lot of things but it's not the solenoids - that's the GM boxes. The torque converter doesn't kick in like it used to on the old E30 boxes, instead it locks in and out in every gear to smooth out the shifts.
Most likely a problem with the forward drive clutch, worn discs or a split drum, could be low oil pressure etc etc etc. Drop the sump and look at the filter though - could be blocked with crap, but the crap has come from somewhere.
