Hi Folks,

Im mid resto of a 320 Cabby (prefacelift) and after inspecting the dampers which support the horeshoe they are both long since dead.

Whilst i can simply order a new set, has any zoner installed a set of upgraded dampers as i have read that the e30 ones are common for failure ?

Would appreciate any input.

cheers in advance

New ones are 60 odd quid each from BMW. I had mine re gassed by S.G.S at Derby
(tel 01332 226290) They did 4 of them while I waited about 11 quid each, and they work fine.
Think they will do a postal service.

I have been told that the dampers used in the seats are the same length but stronger than the originals, it has been covered a couple of times in other threads.

I bought a set off Jim320i a few weeks back for £10 posted and the look like they will fit. I hav'nt had time to fit yet though to be 100% sure.
