Does anybody know whether PAS pumps are interchangeable between M20/M40/M42 engines?
I imagine the 318i and 318is ones are swappable, but what about 6-cyl engine ones onto 4-cyl engines? Is it just a case of swapping the mounting bracket over?

There are 2 different types of pump with different mountings - Vickers and ZF
RealOEM shows totally different assemblies for the M20 and M40 however if the pumps are the same make I'd imagine they would bolt onto either. Sorry I can't be more help.
