just swapped from the original 150 ecu that came with the e32 engine, to a 179 from an e34. What difference, better starting hot and cold, smoother power delivery and no more cutting out when slowing down for junctions,.
Not sure if the 150 had a fault or I've cured a bad connection while removing and replacing it.
Any else running a 150? [/b][/i]

The 150 is Motronic 1.1, with two PCBs, so more likely to go wrong than the later 179 Motronic 1.3 single board unit.

Motronic 1.3 has better resolution (more memory map locations).

I also did this swap when I had an E34 535iSE.

You could make it go even better with a chip upgrade. winkeye
