I can't remember if it fits or not but would a small case E30 LSD fit an E21?
Pretty sure the casing won't bolt up but possibly the LSD unit will work on the E21 cwp?

You can modify the E30 rear beam to fit onto the E21 though.
iirc, it's about 5mm difference between the 2 subframes.
Jasons done it on his track E21.

You can swap the e30/36 internals into an e21 diff case, but you have to grind the inside of the e21 case to make it fit. After that it is either modding an e21 beam to take an e12 diff. Or choping about an e30 rear axle to fit.
