ive just done a m50 conv i added the clio servo with e30 mc added the washer done to test the breaks but the pedal is so hard and there is no break at all. any ideas what it can be.
i wont need bleeding would it????

have you connected the vacum pipe?

make sure the vac pipe next to the throttle is the right way round if youve removed it. if its not your braking will be terrible and the pedal will harder than the expendables - thats if youve actually connected it up? :?

When I put mine on, I had some1 push the pedal so I could locate the pin into the master easier, then slowly release the pedal as I slid it onto the studs :-)

all the vacuum pipes are right seen a few pics too but still cant tell wat it is, the pedal is hard not started or started???????

Are you sure you have got the servo rod located in the master cylinder and not lodged to the side?
Easy done when fitting on your own as it helps if someone presses the pedal down as mentioned above.

what do you mean its free?!

get the rod to sit in the piston of the master cylinder as you slide the cylinder onto the brake servo. i recon that could eb it aswell i did it the first time i connected mine up
