Will the wheel still fit ok with this piece snapped or will i have to glue it back on?

Any help appreciated.

It will work, but i think that piece is for the steering lock.

Steering lock is done via the teeth on the inside of the hub.
The bit that has come of is for canceling the indicators, I think !
