Just having a new centre section done for my 325, and when i dropped it iff, the guy asked if i wanted straight pipes instead of a silencer. I went for a direct replica of what's already on there (single box), but was wondering if anyone has gone for a straight centre section and how loud or more/less powerful it is.

Should make less low end power without the centre box.

Don't think it's so much a silencer, it's a balance tube to equalise the pressures in the two pipes :)

Keep it there, or remove it and have a balance tube fitted mabey?
