It says Anthracite interior on that Sytner letter, the blue velour is pretty shocking

Have you got an account Rodderz? Pretty sure you need one to bid on Copart stuff, they need some brief from you like utility bills etc, plus £40 membership

It's being sold on behalf of the customer who has "given up" on the restoration.
It's not being sold as an insurance write off though it was was written off in '89.
Copart will take private commission auction sales like any other company.

Given up! It must have some horrors hiding somewhere then?
And, written off in 89? That must have been a lot of moneys worth back then!

Possibly stolen and recovered hence the blue interior instead of anthracite?Rodderz wrote:And, written off in 89? That must have been a lot of moneys worth back then!

Looks like a nice car. But the fact that its been wrote off previously effects the price of it when done.
If i was after another alpina i wouldn't want to go near one written off. And its an auto.
Ive been to that auction a fair few times as its not that far from me, but im not interested in that thing.

3 grand for what is quite likely a shagged old 6 Series with a lot of the correct Alpina parts (exhaust, cam, suspension) missing.

The red B9 Coupe to which Barry alludes looks great in photos but is absolutely dreadful in reality.
