My wipers have gone mad!!

Driving back to uni last nite in the rain.. n i think it was when i flicked my wipers from setting 2 to delay, suddenly the windscreen washer came on and wouldnt go off!! had to pull over and disconnect it, then the windscreen wipers kept going like they do if you use the wash and wouldnt turn off

is this a stalk problem?

check you relay. Its the long black one inside the fusebox. sometimes the spare fuses fall out of the lid and get trapped under the relay. It happened to me and my mate!!!
