Hi and welcome.

You'll find lots of advice here whch could potentially save you lots of money on buying a 325i sport.

There's also a rather special (legendry) e30 325i sport for sale which is quite an animal. Speak to a memeber called Karan who is selling it.

Are you from evotechnik?

Hi thanks for the info. im from e36coupe.com. (used to have a e36 evo before). I think i know about the e30 325i for sale but im lookin at spending nom ore than Ԛ£2K really. i dont mind it being a bt shabby as i enjoy doiong work to cars myself but must have a solid engine. Not sure how miuch these go for but seen a couple 325i sport on autotrader going for around the Ԛ£1700 mark. The sport ones are really quite rare.

hello mate, I would buy on condition of body/shell over the mechanicals as you are most likely to find yourself a rotten turd underneath it all if you are shopping for sports in the sub Ԛ£2k category.

Depends what you want the car for in all honesty. The only difference with a sport and a 325i really is the gearbox and the LSD. 1st & 2nd gears are closer ratio on a sport box, but after that it's all the same. LSD can be had for Ԛ£150 from a breaker, so maybes think about a decent 2dr 325se in good fettle which is worth little more than Ԛ£1K, then strap on the LSD and sport box if this is a must and possibly some mtec suspension or go for aftermarket suspension from the Zone shop.

Whatever E30 you buy you are going to end up chasing your way around the car fixing bits, if it must be a sport you are after then you may want to raise your budget otherwise a sub Ԛ£2K sport will cost you another Ԛ£1k within the first 12 months.
