Been a superb couple of years but will be getting rid this month. Just don't use it - training it now whereas it used to be a daily driver - and makes no sense leaving the beast on the road doing squat, since I don't have a garage. She deserves to be a garage queen lol

Will take a few more up to date pics over the weekend but here's a taster from a recent front end session.

Just wondering what's best to get a good price - here, pistonheads or ebay or all at the same time?

Cheers

Here's a few bits of info. Some small things to do I just don't have time for:

Good:
This is non-ac, non-obc model, front electric windows and sunroof, MANUAL 325i BABY YEAH!!!
Tech II wheel - from an M5 (larger size)
BBS 15'' - have kept the caps off recently to avoid getting them knicked
No rust I know of, all exterior bodywork has been sorted. Ask me about a bit and I'll poke it for you, but its a solid touring
128k miles, due an oil change - I'll probably do this as I like doing it, they're such fucking cool cars. I've done 6k oil changes since purchase June 2009 at 104k
Have done the plugs every two oil changes I think at 104, 110, 122. 104 was garage done, 110 was NGK and 122 was bosch
Had a cambelt at 104, with water pump
Also at 104, new fuel filter, transmission oil, diff oil (open diff)
Same sort of time had new front disks and pads
4 toyo proxes T1-R , reasonable all round, bit more wear at the back
5 months tax, MOT till Feb
Yes its got a K&N but no dodgy induction gubbins
About a year old higher rated battery
Bilstein B4s and standard springs on the rear, with replaced top mounts- not lowered so didn't use E46 cab mounts. Stock at the front - handles nice but would probably look to fit similar to front
Sony bluetooth stereo - likes iphones - pioneer 4 inchers in the rear pods and vibez innit in the front kick panels
Brian Mooooooore central locking mod
Replaced the alternator bushes
Black sports leather including rears. This was a retro fit by me. I have some door cards but did not fit as the rears had cut-outs for electric. Probably easy to mod to manual, or retro fit rear electric. Front are from a coupe. Leather is excellent, mechanisms all perfect, but there is a section of missing piping from the driver's bolster
Headlining ok
Has had two front wings and a bonnet respray all colour matched to the flanks plus a new valance and tailgate - all original BMW reclaimed parts. Looks really nice after a wax job winkeye
Load cover present and correct
Uncracked dash
Original factory stickers on a very nice windscreen fitted by a zoner, one tiny chip but otherwise in really nice condition, like new
Replaced the fuel pump (and fuel filter again)
Will include the original Bavaria stereo -- with code!!! -- 8O
In two MOTs has just had drop links done - otherwise flies through
No cat exhaust, otherwise the exhaust is pretty standard, but sounds cool, I like it anyway. You can hear it coming
Glovebox torch present but not working, never checked if battery or supply/fuse. Keep a rewindable one in the door
31mpg on a run 8O

Bad:
High pressure wash system not working
Exhaust knocks sometimes over bumps- is solid but probably needs hangers adjusting
Fucking bas-tad kids (mine) broke the rear ashtray cover off - :x - one of the little spines snapped off :(
Fuel gauge currently not behaving. Tried tightening the nut on the back of the clocks and it stopped it dancing around but I guess one of the senders may need a look. Have been counting miles in the meantime and discovered the red light works :D
Since the front disks were done the front pad warning light has been on- I've never looked at it, probably a five minute job to make the connection good on the pad
Fan belt squeaks from cold sometimes - probably needs adjusting
Not much SH from before I bought it though very few owners, something like 3 plus me, but two of the first 3 were the same couple

That's it - she's a minter!

Other bits:
Have a spare fuel pump though will probably fleabay this or take offers - is the premium version something like £190 off Eurocarparts
Have a moderate chip never fitted as the ECU chip is soldered in
Refurbed set of injectors - never fitted
Half a can of brilliant red paint (unthinned)

Located in sunny East Sussex but I'll deliver (road warrior)

Let me know any thoughts fellas

Some other info: this is the best car I've ever had. Was a hoot in the snow, a handful in slightly greasy roads, fun annoying a Ferrari 458 round a large circular road when he wouldn't go over 120mph to get rid of me haha sucker :P :P ... and that time tailing an M3 ... and the number of looks you get in an E30 hehe

Tried to go on a roadtrip this summer as I thought it might be goodbye but didn't get the chance

Will be saving up for the next few years for a garage and something to put in it - probably a 10+ yr old porker, and an E30 M3

 winkeye

I think I remember your thoughts on this from another thread, Brian. Something like show its good, put a ticket it on it, worthwhile for £40 or whatever it is. Fair enough. You looking for something to replace the red one in your sig? Wasn't it written off?

It was indeed, by a flying porker, and about fifteen miles from its birthplace!
It has long since been replaced by a two owner, brilliant red 325 on a J plate, complete with aircon, alloy front control arms, rear seats that looked like they'd never been sat on, no expense spared mostly dealer history, golf tees in the door pockets, and a British Legion sticker in the tailgate window. Was an auto, but a few bits from Eko cured that.
Good luck with the sale. Looks worth every penny.
