Does anyone know if the E30 325i uses the same AFM as the E30 325? I'm looking at buying an inlet adapter to install an after market filter on it.

currently looking at this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290467549740? ... 041wt_1163

would it be the same fitment?

No such thing as a 325. Any time you see 325, just presume it means 325i unless you also see the number "2.7"

So yes, this will fit. The real question is, why are you fitting an aftermarket filter?

sorry grrr me and you are disagreeing a lot today!! .....There is a 325e as well as a 325i. the AFM's have different part numbers and my 325i did not like the 325e AFM fitted at all! I think the attachment to the airbox was the same though

that's ok kman, that's why I put the "2.7" comment on there (which is the 325e engine). Still no such thing as a plain old 325 though.
