M52 14" or 16" fan?

Ive got an E36 aircon fan fitted but the high speed has long since given up and now the bearing is really loud so dont think its going to last much longer.
Been looking on Ebay and can get a 14" slimfit for £23

Will the 16" one fit in place or am I best getting the 14"?

Im pretty sure craigieb has a 16 inch fitted to the aircon spec rad

ive just fitted a 16 aswell. its a squeeze but it fits!
