M52B25 wiring quere

I am thinking of buying a cheap M52B25 but the catch is that the engine and box are not in the car and only has the engine loom with no ECU or EWS. It will be going into a 86' 325i Sport hopefully lol.

My question is can i use a M50 loom without EWS or does it have to be an loom that matchs the engine? Going by info from the engine it is a 1997 engine.

Any help people?

Will run better with the M52B25 ECU, you can pickup an ECU with matching EWS for under £100

I take it that it requires matched keys and reciever ring also as per any newish car?

Where's the best place to source all the necessary bits and bobs? I see you see looms, do you sell a plug and play loom for a M52 in a 89' 325? If so how much my good man?

The key, ECU and EWS module are matched, the other parts are interchangeable.
