I own a 1990 325i and was thinking about removing the centre exhaust section, has anyone else done this? If so, what were the results (power/noise)?

Im mainly just after more noise to really p!55 my neighbours off as they are complete t***ers.

Probably lose low end torque as the centre section contains a crossover which improves this.

Other than that, the can's empty so it probably doesn't do much silencing anyway :)

Very interesting! I never knew this!

NO wonder when you sick on a scorpion you lose so much torque!
