Does the ECU "Shut down/Turnoff" the injectors when the engine is coasting ?

ie TPS at idle, but engine speed above idle coming down (make sense ?)

EDIT: also, the injector are fired in firing sequence are'nt they........135246

there is a fuel cut in the motronic code, is has a few variables but it does work, its actually the reason you get some low speed shunting in stop start traffic, on the zone chips there is a new time variable to improve the situation a bit.

the injectors are batch fired in two banks of three dude.

your TPS theory is spot on BTW, thats why its important its adjusted correctly

why you asking anyways dude ?? got some plans afoot

The older K Jet system has a fuel cut too, it cuts back in at 1400 - 1600 rpm I think.

Ant, whats the change with the zone chips, does it up the speed that the fuel cut off ends.

The reason I ask is that with my current setup the car crackles on the overrun under about 1500 rpm, I'm guessing that the higher the 'cut back in' the higher the crackling will start.

If you know what I mean

It has a lower decay rate if that makes sense Andy

As for the injectors

Odds are on one batch, evens are the others, I have the diags somewhere for the motronic , I wrote the MS wire allocations on there too

note to self: must organise desk better

Yeah that makes sense mate, cheers. I WILL buy one once I've sorted a few of the more pressing issues out.
