Hi, I have a BMW E30 320i. I was changing over the headlight bulbs last night when they stopped working. I put the old bulbs back in to check the new ones were not faulty and still nothing. The drivers side eventually began working but still no luck with the passengers side bulb.
Has anyone ever come across something like this before?
Many thanks

Check the wires close to the plugs at the back of the lights. If the plastic outer sheath has cracked here, they can break at this point.
Connect a bulb (not a meter) directly across the pins of the plug and see if it lights, with the ignition and light switch on of course.
If no luck, connect the bulb between the yellow/x wire at the plug and a good body earth.
