Hello All

Noobie here so be gentle. Im very good on classic minis but trying to get up to speed on my new E30

Its a 1990 325i se

The problem seems to be at 1500 rpm the engine stutters and judders really badly that it almost makes the car start kangarooing.

Above and below 1500 is fine seems to be centred around that for some reason?

Cheers

'They all do it,sir'...and did from new....

These engines need to be perfectly set up to run properly.

Start with the easy stuff,new plugs.
Then move on to air leaks in and around the inlet manifold.
Make sure that the idle control valve is clean and working.
Check out the throttle position switch.

On to more difficult bits;

Under the inlet manifold is a multi-plug connector(C191)have a look behind it's rubber boots for signs of water ingress.
Check the blue temperature sensor for function.

More detail on the above is available via the search function,or yell and we will try to help!

Welcome to the (madhouse)zone,BTW!
