Can anyone tell me what is involved with a R134A air conditioning conversion kit.
I understood that you can replace the original R12 gas with R413a gas with only a change of compressor oil and dryer filter, without the need for a full conversion kit.
Any truth in this ?

Ok thanks, TBH I can't really decide if my system needs servicing / upgrading or not.... what should you see in the sight bubble ?
It's a dealer fit system, but contrary to most, I find that it works quite well but I don't reckon it's as good as it used to be. Is there an easy "check" to see if it's running properly?
Sorry for the thread-jack BTW..
