Back in may I bought a four door 325. The aim of this was to learn about cars and engines. It has serious corrosion issues which i attempting to correct. I have repaired the two front arches so far and a couple of smaller rust holes.

I have never attempted anything like this before and it has been great fun and i have learnt alot.

The next job is to repair more corrision that is mostly situated where the sunroof slides back under the roof. There are drain pipes on either side of this panel and they are completely rusted away. Has anyone repaired anything similar?

Thanks

I suppose it's easier to find another car with no rust, because it's very hard to eliminate it -it's like a cancer, once it'll come back again and take the car away  On the other hand if it's your hobby to mess about with rust holes then good luck.
I've spent a lot of time fighting with rust - to do it right it's hard - all the rusty parts must be cut out and new ones welded in and isolated well - sometimes it's more expensive than buying the whole new part.
