fuel issue i am guessing, fuel pressure regulator, probably be at a certain point in the rev range there is a lack of pressure from the regulator into the fuel rail. If it happened all the time could be the blue sensor or possibly dizzy.

Does this happen everytime its driven and gets up to temp?

have changed the blue sensor along with a brown one as i had problems with my temp gauge but that is now sorted. yes everytime its hot, haven't changed the dizzy but a few people have said that. its worse in 4th gear untill you let off the throttle then back on. :?

I've had a similar problem with a 325 touring, willi [from nz i think],reckons it's the main relay,my post reads''engine misfire'' for more details.I've checked all the relays in the main box under the bonnet and all are clean, all connections clean, but still same problem,i'm no electrician so havent done any testing on the relays themselves,i'm thinking along the lines of m8782538 that it's fuel pressure regulator or fuel supply issue, possibly injectors, thats my next port of call, keep posting and let us know if you find the problem.cheers.nick

Possibly a relay, just because it looks ok, doesn't mean it's not knackered. possibly worth swopping with one you know works to test it.

I had an issue with mine not starting, cleaned up the fuel pipes from the fuel pipe back to the fuel pressure regulator, cleaned that too, next turn it started, no idea why. Remember if you are testing the pressure it should be 3 bar.
