My 2.8 build is almost finished and I unwrapped and fitted my BTB manifolds last night. Goddam they look good. It should be in by the middle of next week with any luck and then we'll see if I've built it right!

Looks good Nick :D

What type of BTB are you using?

What steering rack are you going for?

I went the whole hog and bought a full BTB system. Single pipe, twin silencer, as Jane from BTB told me a single silencer system will fail track day noise. Steering rack is a standard E36 one with a solid alloy guibo on the linkage. I've read somewhere it will fit, but I'll know for sure in about 3 days, so fingers crossed.

Run out of money now so my plans for triple webers are on hold, even having to run with the standard cam for the time being as Piper messed up and 'forgot' to make my 285. I'll probably end up with a CatCam 280/280 from Ant as they're cheaper and he reckons they're the best profile all things considered, plus I can buy a chip off the shelf in theory.

I need my car back working ASAP, it's been too long off the road again, and of course I'm going to have to insure it by the end of June anyway as per the new rules.

I'd have sex with it, most definitely. Good luck with your build.
