Rear trailing arm bushs.

Hi, it's a long time since I posted on this forum I am diging my e30 out of hibernation after some years.
I have had a hunt and I am certain the answer to my question it is somewhere on this forum but I cannot find it.
Any advice on how to replace the rear trailing arm bushs on my 1990 320I ?.
I have just purchased a set of polly bushs and not particularly looking foward to fitting them.

Simple bolt out/bolt in job....

Lift the rear of the car and remove the roadwheel
Split the brake line at the flexi going onto the trailing arm
Unbolt the trailing arm
Replace bushes
May be nessesary to unbolt the driveshafts from the diff,depending on how stubborn the bushes are
put back together!

May pay you to soak all relevent bolts in WD40 the day before.....

Thinking further about this,you will have to pop the springs out as well,it's just a case of removing the lower damper bolt and the ARB mount(if fitted)with the trailing arm as low as possible,lift the spring out with a long lever.

Might be as far on take down the beam and do those bushs as well since you'll have her up? Would make the trailing arms fairly easy.

What about lowering one side of the subframe at a time these bushs don't look very handy?

There's no need to take the fuel tank out,but I was under there and it needed doing as well....
