ive got a e36 m3 vert but only use it every now and again when the suns out at weekends.ive charged the battery and been out all weekend but im not likely to use it for a few weeks now.
ive disconnected the battery to stop it draining will this cause any problems at all if i do this on a regular basis.

It shouldn't do, although sometimes you may have to reset the top if it's non-manual.

Buy yourself a Ctek charger and keep it plugged in at all times and it'll look after your battery.

cheers guys ive heard about them ctek trickle chargers do you plug them in all the time your not using it or just as and when.does it use much leccy?

If the car is kept in the garage, then any of the "smart" chargers would be a good option.

I leave my CTEK charger plugged in all the time, I don't think it uses much after the first initial plug in for about 12 hours whilst it tops the battery up.

I recommend them
