Ignition Control module and distributor

Hi how to check whether my Ignition Control module and distributor is working on my 323i , because there's no spark on the spark plug,

check output from the coil then, multimeter, not sure what it should read though.

Ok thanks, btw will the current run thru the coil before going to the distributor ? Sorry I'm new in this engine thingy

battery, coil, dizzy, plugs.

nothing at the coil would indicate you need a new one. brianmooore is the best person to ask.

Ok how about the igniter control module , what,s The function of it,

timing for the spark plugs make sure they fire in the correct order, helps (as far i know anyway) along with the dizzy.
