I am planning a bit of a pub crawl for the drinkers among us ”“ If you are a fan of real ale then why not join me in York one evening where I shall take you to one of the best brewery’s in Yorkshire which is just inside the City walls behind Micklegate Bar. From there we can sample some fantastic real ales at some proper Yorkshire pubs as we head deeper into town.
For your amusement we shall meet up on the Kings Staith and be taken on a hilarious and educational ghost walk of the city followed by mirth and merriment as we inspect some of the more central hostelries.

York has a very central Travelodge and there is a campsite near the river at Rowntree Park.
