After fitting my modified m52 manifolds on and having the exhaust custom made the mani's started to blow! (Mig welded shite)... Taking delivery of some aftermarket ported stainless tubular e36 manifolds today, car booked in tomoro :D
I will try and post up some pics when they arrive and when fitted, he's going to cut the back 3 obv, and "tig" weld them back together. Full system right from the block

Old thread, but I wonder if these guys are still doing this?

http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... 0+manifold

I'm dreading doing my exhaust mods. Will have a go at it though 'cos I can weld a bit.

EDIT: Although, as I was saying to someone the other day, fitting a system like this will largely give gains at high revs, and I'm not planning on driving around at 6000rpm. So probably not much point for me in buying a system.

Ant you should keep your old ones as a pattern and see if there is somewhere that could make stainless mani's for a group buy? potentially...
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

They are the same as standard e36 328 tubulars but nicely tig'd and ported for freeflow and polished finish. Very nice looking item :D

Too much talk about "group buy this and that", ive got a bolt on pattern available with factory like looks/function and its still not cheap enough for most zoners..... These are things I do in my spare time just for the hell of it because I like making stuff, no company would be able to match the price without turning out 100+ per day

Out of curiosity Dan because I haven't offered mine up how much modding is to be done? If I gave you a pair of tubular manni's, could we have a chat about it?

You not seen the thread boys? No treading on toes is likely to happen as ive had quotes from exhaust companies myself and it wont happen under what ive been charging IMO

The manifolds dont look modified in those pics, but thats the whole point...
I should get pics of standard manifolds really to show the difference
