M50 Radiator - Questions

Evening Gents,

I have what I believe is the e34 m50 rad on my touring (the one with the header tank installed in the end). The header tank is leaking at the o-ring at the bottom, I've bought a replacement but can't get the old one out, has any one got any tips.

Also I'm thinking of replacing the rad, is it worth buying a pattern part or is behr the only way to go?

Is there any other BMW rad that will fit straight in that will be better for some track use?

I know lots of random questions, but the radiator looks alittle tired so might hit a few birds with one stone.

M52 328i rad will do the job from an aircon equipped car.

Nissens are a decent enough aftermarket make

e36 325i aircon rad wil also drop straight in.

Aircon spec rad is the minimum for track use

Dan what radiator are you running on your track car?

S50 rad and oil cooler now, much much better, although I think an oil cooler on its own without the bigger rad would make a big difference anyway
