Warning- Rotary Polisher

Got a rotary polisher from Halfords at the weekend as a test unit. Very very bad choice.

5mins use and the things caught fire, sparks flying out of it, all up my arms. Unit took 4 hours to stop smoking and 6 hours until it was cold enough to be put away.

Thanks to this unit i now have nerve damage to my right forearm and left hand. Oops halfords, my solicitors is having a field day.

On the plus side, its not very powerfull but the results were better than expected on the small area of the bonnet i actually managed to start on in the 5mins it was working.

I would advise you do not get one of these units, even as a stop gap or a cheap one to get you started.
