Really bad idle for first 30 secs

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

When I start my 325i Auto (H Plate) from cold the idle is all over the place for about the first 30secs. After that its fine. I though it might be the Temp Sensor so replaces it and no difference. Have changed the plugs and the leads also.

The car has not been driven in 2 years, the engine has only been runningfow a few weeks. Today she flew through her MOT so will be given a run, but is there something else to change? I check all the vacuum pipes and see no splits

If it's not been driven for a while, chances the whole lot could do with a can of Carb cleaner.
pay particular attention to the AFM, ICV and your throttle baffle.

It'll involve a small bit of pulling pipes off, but you should have it done in an hour.
