Hi guys I'm at the stage of my build where I need to start connecting fuel lines. Its something I haven't really thought about until now and I haven't got a clue how to do it. i.e. where the e30 ends and the m50 begins. The state of play at the moment is that I have three lines coming into the engine bay from underneath the bulkhead, below the brake servo. Two are open ended and the other one goes to the fuel filter a few inches up.
i have tried looking at the schematics on the parts websites but they don't help much.

One will be the feed which is connected to the fuel filter, one will be the vent which is the most outer pipe if you look under the car, and the other is the return to tank

ah ok. so do i just route the feed line directly to the fuel rail and the the return line to the regulator end of the rail? whereis the vent routed to? also on the 5-series there was another component in the system that looked like a fuel filter down in the left hand inner wing, do i just forget about that?
many thanks

Yeah, fuel in at the front of the rail and out of the pressure regulator at the back. The part in the front left of the 5 is the carbon canister, not needed, the vent pipe just pushes into a hole on the NS strut tower.
