i was driving my car around a mini roundabout in the wet entered roundabout a bit fast and the car understeered and after that i heard a strange whining sound.
kept driving and sound was still there and the car started to spluter when i floored it but only a few times, got home and when the car was stopped the sound was also still there, so i asume it isnt anything like a wheel bearing.
my car was running very low on petrol, so could the petrol have went to one side of the tank and made the fuel pump do the whining, which it normally does but not as loud.
Im hopein that it is just because of very little fuel in the tank.
any help and suggestions would be apppreciated.
will tell you if it has gone when the tank has a decent amount of fuel in.
strange whining noise

Sounds like the fuel pump whining. They usually make that noise when they are on the way out, but it might be just because the fuel's low. Before mine went the engine would cut out on fast right handers. Try some more fuel and see how it goes.
