I'll have a play around with it tomorrow. I've tones of pics of my own car but none quite at the same angle :(

The touring in your sig looks like it might be perfect :)

I've asked a mate can he change this one to blue:

After a few attempts of getting the silver touring to fit over the iX I gave up and realised it's only the windows and the tail end of the car that are different. Found a picture of my own touring taken at a similar angle and spent the last while fitting it to the iX, also put on the Borbet B's I have. Think it turned out pretty well.

What do you think of the iX arch flares and tec2 look? Have all the parts to get the look and it's what I intend on doing with the touring.

I really like the iX arch kit.
If you manage to pull it off as per the pic you are definately onto a winner

I have all the bits needed with the exception of the bumper guard on the wing (or coilover which will be got down the line). The wheels/tires might look a little different once I get them fitted, not sure what was on the iX and I just stretched the borbets to fit.

i personally think, full tech 2 kit and just the ix arches. the tech 2 sides beef up the car, thats what a touring needs, without it, they look too long and thin.

Cheers Gem, I might re-do it with that one mirrored of the angle isn't to far of.

I a picture at home of a touring with full m-tec2 kit and just the arch flares, it's looks good. But I don't want to go cutting the arch flares up, they cost me a few quid to get.

The difference a small bit of roof can give to the look of a car is quite big concidering that all it really is compared to a 2 door (their all the same below the crease line).

how about you get the arches replicated, sell the originals at a profit.

Here's the touring I was on about earlier:

I don't think I like it to much with the iX arches and tec2 kit. I'm pretty set on going with how it looks in my PS above, a little different to the norm.

it looks a lot better with tech 2 sides and just ix arches. tech 2 front and rear with ix sides makes it look as if you couldnt afford the sides or don't know what your doing.

I don't think it looks good at all. The arch flares don't follow the same form as the mtec2 pods where they meet. It's a good thing we don't all have the same taste :)

I can always put the pods on at a later date if I don't like the look, cutting the arch flares can't really be un-done.
