One of 450 ECE RHD cars ever built during the short one year production run. This is a genuine motorsport though the numpty swapped the motor/box/diff for 635i items, the original dogleg box and LSD come with the car. The replacement motor is of the same M30 3453cc L Jet as was original to these cars. 93000 miles and the fact it's a runner make this about one of the rarest early BMW's about. So now I have to figure out what to ask for it. Do I spend a small fortune restoring it or move it on as it is? Hmmmmmmm!

I'll be watching this one closely. Awesome cars, and that one's the best colour too. Even has the M-Tech decor strips..

The first UK M Badged car. Proper quick in its day and no slouch today either. Rot like E9s and E24s though and never likely to recoup restoration costs this side of 2020.

You are a hero !!! :) I love these cars, a lairy true hero chariot for pittance back in the day. I have had six over the years but the rampant rust scared me away in the mid nineties :(

They were always hard work to sell and even 15 years ago buying a rough one with the aim of tidying it up to resell for a profit was a pointless wallet lightening exercise.

Maybe now that so few are left, values may have increased, but so will the costs to get it up to scratch. Unless its very together, I'd be doing a quick tidy up and getting it on ebay as it is in the hope that a victim may appear.

The tinted lenses, nasty rims, non OE council striping and cluster decals hint to some council previous .

The engine was a bog stock, non motronic L Jet 3.5 as fitted to very early 635s, they all had dogleg boxes and LSDs.

PS I have a very tidy set of 14 x 7" BBS mahle X spokes ,as fitted to these turds, available to sell.
