I'm taking the plunge and getting the rear wheel arches replaced on my E30 cab, along with some other bit and pieces.

I live in Exeter and I am looking round for a company/garage to take on this work do a proper job and not charge the earth.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

I took my car to swift autos in Cornwall after a friend recommended him, A fair way from you but a good standard of work at very reasonable prices. I.e. welded scuttle, removed wing, painted, resealed, blow in arches as some chips etc, cut out and welded + painted rear valance and panel and boot floor well, to high standard for £150. If you can be patient and leave car for a few weeks so he can fit it in around private and trade work. He charged me £20 an hour.

If you say you know me i.e. Alex he did my black e30 318is the owner is called Peter, You could get a train back to Exeter from Penzance and again to collect. Just a thought, I will be taking my car back soon for a few more areas of corrosion to be sorted. If I took the car anywhere else it would have been £600 + for the work undertaken, He has plenty of experience, booth oven etc.

Is Barnstaple too far for you to travel? There is a chap who did some bodywork, fixing dents, rust and some respraying on my E30 last summer and comes highly recommended! (would just have to dig out his details for you)
